Municipal Elections


Qualifying for the 2019 City of Auburn Elections will begin on Monday, August 19, 2019 and end on Friday, August 23, 2019.

The 2019 Election is for Council Seats currently occupied by Council Member Peggy Langley and Council Member Jay Riemenschneider and the Mayor of Auburn, currently occupied by Linda Blechinger.  Qualifying will begin Monday, August 19, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.  The qualifying period will be: Monday, August 19, 2019 – Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, August 23, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Auburn City Hall located at 1369 Fourth Avenue in Auburn.

The Municipal General Election will be held on November 5, 2019 at Midway United Methodist Church, 215 Kilcrease Rd. Auburn, GA 30011.  If a Runoff is necessary, it will be held at the same location on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.  The polling location will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The Voter Registration deadline to be eligible to vote in the City of Auburn Election is October 7, 2019. 

Advance Voting will be October 14, 2019 – November 1, 2019, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm each day at the Barrow County Elections Office located at 233 E. Broad St. Winder, GA
